It's no surprise Utah faired much better than other states in the nation throughout the recent recession. Although the construction sector in Utah suffered greatly, their are good signs of continued growth through 2016 and heading into 2017.
Because the industry is continuing to grow, construction also showed the greatest job growth numbers last year.
